Earth Hour: Protecting People from Earth's Wrath

In the wake of the ecological disasters our country experienced the last two years, going green has gone from "feel good advocacy" to "must do initiative." What is needed is a two-pronged approach that makes companies responsible fro protecting the environment, while also preparing their people for the worst. In this session, we will determine: What can we do to measure and reduce our negative environmental impact? What essential disaster management practices should we put in place? How do we do all these with as little cost and disruption to the business as possible?

The Honorable Elisea G. Gozun joins us in the 48th PMAP Annual Conference to scope the environmental challenges facing us today and how we could do business with people, profit and planet as our triple bottomline.

The Honorable Elisea G. Gozun is the Presidential Assistant for Climate Change. She is former Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and recipient of the 2007 Champion of the Earth Award from the United Nations Environment Programme.
