Societal Values: The Real Bottom Line!

The link between being people-oriented and profit-oriented is now statistical fact. However, the fact still seems lost on a few organizations still operating with an industrial-age mindset. When faced with a hard choice between people or profit, it is the rare manager who puts people first. This session aims to recognize the success of organizations that have made the decision to always put people first. From their experiences, we hope to learn how to create sustainable business value in our own organizations by aligning it with people's best interests.

2008 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for Public Service Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip joins us in the 48th PMAP Annual Conference to stress the point that indeed, people and societal values are the real bottom line!

Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip is founder and Managing Director of the CARD (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development) Mutually Reinforcing Institutions. He is the 2008 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for Public Service and the 2006 Ernst and Young's Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
